Not fewer than 10 people have been burnt beyond recognition, with several cars burnt to ashes, after a tanker carrying petrol exploded at
Bomala Bridge area of Gombe, on Saturday noon.
An eye witness told Odion Wondas Blog that the petrol tanker collided with a truck carrying bottled water along Gombe southern bypass. He said at least 10 shattered and burnt bodies were removed from the incident arena by the Nigerian Red Cross Society personel.
Officials of the Gombe State Fire Service were however on ground trying to put out the fire till now.
